Placemats and windows

I only got the binding on two placemats because I was distracted most of the day cleaning the guest house. This set is, hand down, my favorite of the new ones. They are a little wide at 18″ but I didn’t want to trim the side triangles.

These have a bonus in that the back can be used at Halloween.

I didn’t get much else done because I cleaned the guest house and did the extra job of cleaning the windows. Boy, did they need it and it took a lot longer than I planned. I’m glad it’s done though.

In other news, most of my fabrics for the Eclipse quilt are done. This photo is bad because the lighting in the hall wasn’t great. The fabrics are brighter. I’m not sure I’m totally thrilled but I’ll decide when the last pieces are done. I’ll lay them on the bed and see how they work.
