May Accomplishments and June Goals

May was a fun making month as I worked on the beach gifts and did a lot of dyeing and screen printing. I made 15 etched glasses, 10 little t-shirts for my Grand Niece, 6 shirts for my brother and 22 tea towels.

I also made 14 postcards,

finished 2 veterans quilts,

made a set of placemats,

quilted this big quilt for my quilt club, and

learned how to make gluten-free sourdough!

It was a very good month! Here are the YTD stats:
Quilts – 3
Veterans quilts made – 5
Donation lap quilts – 3
Veterans quilts quilted – 16
Fabric Postcards – 14
Pet Beds –
Quilted for others – 1
Crochet blankets – 3
Crochet shawls – 4
Crochet/loom knit hats and scarves –
Placemats and Table Runners – 2
Potholders and tea towels – 22
Dyed shirts and towels – 16
Other Donated items –
Garments (sewn and cochet) – 1

My plans for June include:
– finishing the rest of the placemats

I’m Vicki

I’m Vicki Welsh and I’ve been making things as long as I can remember. I used to be a garment maker but transitioned to quilts about 20 years ago. Currently I’m into fabric dyeing, quilting, Zentangle, fabric postcards, fused glass and mosaic. I document my adventures here.
