Teal Tomorrow

Teal Tomorrow, 92″ x 104″, finished in 2010

The colors in these photos are more blue than what the quilt really is. It’s much more teal. The pattern is Peaches & Dreams by Judy Laquidara.  I started the quilt to use up a lot of these teal fat quarters that I was tired of seeing. As the quilt started coming together I decided that I really liked it a lot so I took the time to dye fabric for the borders. I really like how the hand dyed fabrics complement the commercial prints.
It’s large, about 92″ x 104″. The backing is hand dyed flannel.
We gave this to Chris’ nephew for a wedding gift.
