A few rows

A few rows

Yesterday was mostly an errand day. I didn’t settle in to doing anything creative until the evening.

I’m at the point on this blanket where I want it finished.  I added about 4 rows last night and I’m determined to finish it this weekend. It’s about to get way too hot to work on blankets so itmustbe done. I estimate that I have 8 – 10 rows left to go.

The only other creative thing that’s happened is that I have a postcard idea for a small pile of green hand dyed scraps.

My garden,  such as it is, has been in turmoil this year.  The deer ate everything during the winter storm and have continued foraging this Spring.  The only things they have left alone are the it’s, daffodils and Lenten Roses. They haven’t noticed the Bleeding Hearts yet.

In happy news, we have the first bluebird nest!

Today, after some yard work, I’ll start quilting Mom’s quilt. I finally have ideas that I like!

that time of the year – bird nests and eggs. Love the bleeding hearts I planted some once and they died on me – too much shade maybe?
