The last couple of weeks of the month I’ve felt a little unfocused and I didn’t realize why until I started this post. I think it’s because I’m still reorganizing my mind after this big project.

That quilt and the related pillows will be the most important project that I’ll do this year. Any lack of focus that I’m dealing with now is well worth it.
As soon as I finished Zane’s Quilt, I got 3 veterans quilts quilted and bound. Two of them are my own.

My next project was to cut out a bunch of veterans quilt kits. I have 26 kits that will last me for a couple of years.

My last finish of the month was to wrap up some fidget mats that I started last year. They aren’t my most favorite thing to make but the charity organization needs them all the time and it does use up some of the supplies that I never seem to use.

It turns out that I did meet my goals for the month
My goals for March were:
– finish the memory quilt – done
– finish the 12 memory pillows to go with the quilt – done
– quilt 3+ veterans quilts – done
– bind and finish 4 veterans quilts – bound 3
– cut more veterans quilt kits – over 20 of them!
– finish the Monty quilt top – done
– figure out a gift to make for the family vacation week – I figured out the gift and I don’t ahve to make anything!
I’ve got 4 projects in process that will carry into April.

My goals for April are:
- quilt Mom’s quilt
- finish the big crochet blanket
- finish 1 more veterans quilt
- cut out a quilt to use up the Monty quilt scraps – this will be a travel project
- make some new postcards
- dye and decorate tshirts for Cora
