Two veterans quilts

I didn’t post yesterday but you didn’t miss anything. My projects for Thursday and Friday were these two veterans quilts. I got both quilted and bound.

I don’t know who made this one. I heard that it was handed off in the parking lot at the last meeting. The maker also provided binding but it was too narrow. I found a solid red in my stash that would work.

This is one that I made. The light blue was leftover from the farm animal quilt that I made a couple of years ago. This one couldn’t be simpler to make. I remember that I put it together in just a few hours.

Now I have 2 more quilts to deliver this week.

Today I’ll start cutting new veterans quilt kits. I usually make about half patriotic and half scrappy quilts.
