Two more veterans quilts!

Two more veterans quilts got quilted yesterday. I don’t know who made this one but I like it a lot.

I decided that the big dark areas could benefit from light quilting thread. I picked a shiny gray. I had some thread breaking challenges but a consultation with my friend, Brenda, solved it. I just needed to loosen my top tension.

The second quilt was made by Brenda. The silver thread worked great on her quilt too. This is another quilt that was made with the 9-patch exchange blocks from 2025. This year they are exchanging blue and white pinwheel blocks.

I have 2 more quilts loaded but today I’m going to focus on getting the bear quilt and my sewing supplies packed up.
