Memory Quilt – part 8

It’s done! The top is done! I am beyond happy with the way this turned out. It finishes to 84″ square, which is large for a t-shirt quilt. It’s going to be a heavy quilt too. It will be smaller after quilting but that will not happen until the Spring. I’m excited to get back to it and getting it finished for the family.

For now I can divert my attention to veterans quilts until we leave next week. I think I have 6 to get quilted and I already have 2 underway. They will be done tomorrow.

Wow, you did an amazing job putting this together and his initials in the center of the cross is an especially nice touch.

The quilt turned out fabulous, I like the framing around the images. I also like that you put (I assume) are his initials in the middle. The plaid cross is a wonderful accent.
