A mellow day

A mellow day

I intended to do some fabric dyeing yesterday but my ankle had other plans. It’s healing really well but I did too much standing and walking  Wednesday.  I decided to spend most of the day relaxing.

I did get my fabrics prepared and plan to do dyeing Saturday.

I have 3 quilt backs plus the fabrics for the bear quilt.

This is the bear quilt. Remember the farm quilt that I made earlier this year? It was a fundraiser quilt for the Montpelier Center. It raised over $1500! The bear quilt will be the 2027 quilt.

It will have a gradient border. I’m visiting with some friends today and they can help me finalize the colors and pick the background color for the center.

This is the project that I plan to take to Arizona.
