Lots of progress

I got the Eclipse Scraps quilt top done yesterday! If I remember correctly,  this will finish about 52 x 64. It will be a fine sofa quilt.  For now, it’s hanging in the to-be-quilted closet until I get a backing dyed. I think I want to quilt the big Eclipse quilt first anyway.

I have 6 crumb blocks left and spentca few minutes think of a project for them but, wisely, rembered that there are more important things to do

Like starting Christmas cards. The first set will be made from my friends scraps from her Christmas quilt. I think these will come together pretty quickly.

I finished the day in the basement loading 2 veterans quilts. I have plenty to keep me busy this weekend!

I am sure that will be a lovely sofa quilt.
I am curious to see how you use those scraps for the Christmas cards.

We can always find something new to work on! How about making a pillow with the left over eclipse crumb blocks or use them on the back of the quilt.
