A crochet update

A crochet update

I didn’t do any sewing yesterday. It was a yard work morning followed by a couple of errands for Mom. She’s still with us since her eye surgery but seems to be getting a little better.

Today, all I have is a little crochet update.

This is the big blanket, and it’s moving right along. The top orange strip is the middle.

This is the wheelchair blanket, and it’s coming together quickly.  I think it will have 9 blue sections. I have 4 skeins of the blue, which should be just enough.

We’re going to visit my brother this afternoon, but I might try to get some sewing in this morning. Sunday is football, so that will be all crochet!

I am sometimes successful in commenting on WordPress blogs so I’m trying on yours again. I love all the scrap blocks you made from the leftovers from Eclipse.

Two very different projects which I know I would need in order to hold my interest. I’m at the point with my fusion quilt where I’m starting to crochet the blocks together so it’s a lot more fun.
