Another veterans top

I got all of these blocks made at sewing days, and while I had them out, I commenced with sewing them together.

These fabrics are leftover from Karen’s quilt. I way overbought these fabrics. I’ve already gotten a set of placemats from them, and this project mostly finished them off.

The pattern is called Crossroads and it’s from my favorite quilting book, Colorful Quilts For Fabric Lovers by Amy Walsh and Janine Burke.

I now have 5 veterans quilts to quilt and I have 3 weeks to get them done. I’ve decided that I will quilt one of my quilts first to see if I can get a finish for September.

Anyone remember this quilt? Did I piece it in 2024 or 2023? I don’t remember.  It’s finally getting loaded today, so I need to quickly figure out how I’m quilting it.

I remember this quilt – I loved it so much I bought the pattern for it! I still haven’t made it, though. I love the purple gradated background fabrics you used.

I don’t remember that quilt, but I love it. It will be interesting to see how you quilt it.

I do remember that quilt but no clue when you made it. Either way, it’s nice that it’s getting a turn to be quilted. I don’t normally care for brown but that quilt is stunning!!

Yes, I remember that quilt and time flies. Things I think I made a couple years ago were made 10 years ago.

I love the batik quilt top!

I am sure you can get those veteran quilts done. Yes, I remember that quilt. The hand dyed fabrics are so pretty! Patty
