I made great progress!

I made great progress!

I’ve done two main things the past 4 days. In the morning I’ve been helping Chris chop up a big cherry tree limb. When he pointed it out to me, it looked like it was about 10″ in diameter. In reality, it was about 25″ in diameter at the trunk. It’s been crazy humid and hot here so we could only tolerate about an hour and a half every day. We are almost done, and after this, we should have all the wood stocked for next winter.

I also took a break yesterday to visit a friend and then came home to load 2 veterans quilts. I’m going to try to get these quilted today. That was a nice break from working on the website. Tomorrow I’ll be working the voting precinct all day.

On the blog front, I got 83 pages set up! I have all the project yearly galleries done and just have about 25 pages of tutorials and galleries left to do. The end is in sight and I will probably not post here past this week.

In other news, we have more baby bluebirds!

This post finally showed up here – but it took a number of hours behind the old blog.
